Veeva Implementation For a top-3 US-based Consumer Healthcare Company

Problem

A top-3 consumer healthcare company decided to transition from the Argus Safety to the Veeva Safety Vault platform.  The implementation scope was Vault Safety, Custom Reporting Platform, Integrations, and Validation. The key challenges include:

  • Data migration involving millions of records and documents
  • The Argus instance was a spin-off from another larger Argus instance and had a history of multiple data migrations into it, leading to the data complexities
  • Complex and multiple sources of products and registrations (being a consumer healthcare company)
  • Coordinating across multiple vendors and internal teams
  • Vault Safety was still maturing as a product for tier-I companies and regional usage

Solution

ELIQUENT and Pinnaxis led data migration, a custom reporting platform, supported all workstreams, and stayed engaged after go-live to ensure the expected outcomes are achieved.

  • Workstreams: We led Data Migration, Custom Reporting, and Validation workstreams
  • PMO Cross-functional SME:  Our PV SMEs were embedded into the PMO and worked very closely with the program manager, all workstreams, and vendors, resolving key cross-functional issues, and were instrumental in the success of the project
  • Configuration & Validation: Our system SMEs were embedded with the Veeva configuration workstream to provide clean products/registrations data and reporting rules requirements
  • Data Migration: Migrating ICSR data from Argus, using a proven migration tool and executing multiple dry runs to ensure accuracy
  • Reporting: Developed a self-service and custom reports system in Power BI (Workbench didn’t exist)
  • Post go-live efficiencies: Extended engagement post-hyper-care to optimize process, reports, and the system
