Abhishek is a widely acknowledged industry leader in Pharmacovigilance with 19 years of experience in global pharmacovigilance/safety systems operations, consulting and implementation. He has expertise in both the business and technical aspects of pharmacovigilance, allowing him to cover a large spectrum of responsibilities.

Prior to joining ELIQUENT, Abhishek was part of Truliant Consulting.  Before that, he held the position of Director at PPD, where he directed day-to-day management and operations of the PV database team for Argus Safety and ArisG, and provided SME oversight of large-scale Argus Safety upgrades. He previously served as Director at ICON Plc, overseeing Safety Systems team operations and the entire safety systems universe.

Abhishek’s earlier career includes roles as Consulting Technical Manager at Oracle Corporation, where he led implementation workstreams in large Argus and Argus J implementations and conducted business/technical workshops across the globe for multiple pharmaceutical companies and CROs.

He specializes in PV Systems (Veeva Safety Vault, Argus Safety, ArisG), Business and Technology Strategies, Systems Implementations, Process and System Harmonization, Data Migration, Custom Reporting, and Aggregate and Periodic Reporting. His accomplishments include working as an SME and Advisor to Program Management Offices for major implementations and developing 5-year visions and PV Systems roadmaps.

Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering, Japanese Language A1 level certification from the Japan Foundation, and is an Oracle Certified Associate.
