Dr. Joseph P. Catlett, M.D.

Dr. Joseph P. Catlett, M.D., currently serves as the Principal Clinical Consultant with DataRevive. A seasoned medical professional, Dr. Catlett is a board certified hematologist with over 30 years experience in the treatment of both benign and malignant hematologic disorders.

Dr. Catlett has a special interest and expertise in plasma cell disorders, leukemia and lymphoma. During his tenure as a Senior Attending Physician in the Section of Hematology/Oncology at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, he was the site principal investigator for numerous clinical trials for multiple myeloma and other hematologic disorders including acute myelogenous leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. He has published numerous original research articles in peer reviewed journals including Blood, Leukemia and Lymphoma, Annals of Internal Medicine and The British Journal of Hematology.

In addition to his clinical expertise, he also served for two years as a Medical Officer in the Division of Oncology Drug Products at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He is available to advise pharmaceutical sponsors on clinical development programs, design of clinical protocols, review and analysis of trial data, and interpretation of hematologic adverse events.
