As the Director of Client Engagement of ELIQUENT Life Sciences, Mara Mitchell partners with Subject Matter Experts and Talent Solutions to develop new business, scope project details with global life science clients, negotiate & execute contracts, oversee the project deliverables, and manage the engagements from end-to-end as the main point of contact to deliver the best Quality, Compliance, & Regulatory solutions in the market.

As part of Eliquent’s Client Engagement team, Mara focuses on developing trusting relationships with her clients and her internal Eliquent team members. With these relationships, she’s able to better understand each client’s challenges, provide the best type of expert for that challenge, both on a personal and professional level, and by her focus on staying organized with regular check ins with the client and consultants, she is able to get ahead of any issues that might arise before it happens so that the project runs smoothly and successfully.

With 12+ years at Eliquent, Mara thoroughly enjoys her job and has developed long lasting relationships with her clients, consultants, and the internal team. Prior to joining legacy Validant, Mara was an entrepreneur and successfully started and ran a video marketing production company with one partner in Panama that focused on 3-5 minute video segments to showcase large multi-use luxury developments to use for online marketing and international investment tradeshows. From her 3+ years of wearing many hats in business development, sales, contract negotiator, copy writer, online camera host, etc., she loves translating that experience into her role at Eliquent as she puts her heart into each challenge and treats each new client engagement like she did when she ran her own company.

Mara holds a BA from Pace University, graduating Cum Laude and was Presidential Deans Scholarship holder all 4 years while attending Pace. She went on two Semester at Sea Study abroad programs while at Pace University with the first one circumnavigating the globe and the second traveling up and down the western coast of South America. Since 2016, she enjoys living in Needham, MA, just outside of Boston with her husband and three young sons for whom she continues to explore the world each year with.
