Ziyan Zhang joined ELIQUENT in 2022 after a decade-long career in academia. She is responsible for nonclinical study design, regulatory dossier preparation, writing and reviewing study reports, and communicating with clients regarding nonclinical study deficiencies and recommendations. Dr. Zhang has contributed to multiple projects at ELIQUENT, focusing on gene and cell therapy products, biologics, and small molecule drugs across diverse therapeutic areas, including oncology, genetic disorders, and eye diseases.
Dr. Zhang brings over a decade of academic expertise in neuroscience, pharmacology, and toxicology to her role at ELIQUENT. Her research has significantly advanced the understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying various neurological disorders, with a particular focus on the role of autophagy in autism and environmental neurotoxicity.
